Life is Good

So, yes, it has been a while... but life is good!

John is home for the weekend - he seems very happy at Carnegie Mellon and with Navy R.O.T.C. His hair is practically gone (just really short)! It is great to see him!! He is strongly leaning toward his major in Mechanical Engineering with a double minor in Robotics and Spanish! Go Navy!

Melissa is now 6 weeks into her 4th year teaching and still loves the relationships she is building with the kids - but has to admit that there are some kids who are more difficult to love than others :-)! She is building other relationships outside of the classroom, but you would have to ask her for more details :-)!

Laura and her man are all settled in to Misawa Air Base in Japan and loving everything about it. She went with a heavy heart - well at least a heart that really wanted to be going to Italy, but she loves Japan! She will always be able to make lemonade out of any amount of lemons!

Bill is still enjoying retired life and getting some things done around the house before his second career begins which we hope will be within the next month. His health continues to slowly improve. A new doctor in St. Louis seems to be responsible for this change! PTL!
